Frack Free Tameside launches in a bid to raise awareness as area goes up from fracking licence

Frack Free Tameside launches on 8th January 2014 in response to local area licensing for shale gas and coal bed methane extraction. Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, has been shown to cause devastating problems for local residents living close by to the wells.

We have already attracted international attention from Leo Sayer who supports the frack free campaign in Australia and has written an anti fracking protest song

Frack Free Tameside meet again on 13th January 7-9 at the Broadoak Pub, Broadoak Road, Ashton under Lyne.
